I have had this in the garage for a good while now, with all intentions of fitting. It is one of the early ones and have changed the caliper to the newer version (ss piston). I intend to change the master cylinder to one of the MB ones, are there any other things that require changing before fitting? And is it a good idea to fit in the first place or am I asking for trouble?

if its got a nissin slave cylinder and it centres up in the forks ok then all i would do (and have done) is lock tite and lube every thing up.
they are well proven bits of kit but like anthing scooter related, just go through it with a fine tooth comb to make sure all is as it should be.
sometimes the disc feels warped. 500 miles clears this....usualy a high spot that wears in.

Yes, make sure it the wheel centers in the forks. Mine doesn't, I'm not sure the machining of these hubs is of consistent quality.

fit some decent braided hose, if you've still got the rubber stuff originally supplied.
