I'm looking for an red rear bulb as I've got a coloured rear lens. I've been looking at led ones on eBay, and they list types of fittings, for example a BAY15D fitting.

Does anybody know what type of fitting/socket or what ever it's called for a GP rear bulb?

quoted as

"BAY 15d/19"

its the standard car combined stop/tail light fitting. For normal bulbs its 12v 21/5w or 6v 15/3

rear light / brake bulb 12 V with "our" socket type = 1157

Just like for cars.

You can find them in red. Most are LED but some are old fashioned incandescant.

You need to make sure that it has LEDs that 'radiate' around the outside as well as rear facing. Some lamps have ALL of the LEDS facing to the rear so won't work with a reflector.

You need to make sure it has sideways facing leds as well as rear facing otherwise it won't work with the reflector, like these http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/automotive-b ... 1_132.html
