hi guys, ive got a jet 200 casing in my series 3, it is not ported atall. i have already fitted a mec 60mm crank and am considering fitting a new version muggy225. i will use a 28mm delly carb that i have already got prob with a remote filter, can anyone tell me if the carb setup is easy/ straight forward, any one already using this setup? please give me some good starting points . exhaust will be a remade fresco and standard gp200 gearing. any help appreciated as i am hoping to use scoot for wicklow rally next weekend. cheers

I run a Mug 225, but there our likeness ends, sorry. i've read people saying that the 225 is dissapointing out of the box without further tuning i have a stage five tune on mine and when dyno'd several years back got about 18.5 bhp. Not a rocket but trouble free (touch wood)
Your choice of carb can be a tricky one to set up as opposed to a 30mm Dellorto and you might need a better performance exhaust, most i know use a JL or like me a Devtour.
If you are going to invest your money in a expensive cyl kit you would be foolish not to have it set up on a dyno.
My set up is Mug 225 stg 5, af race crank, casings matched to barrel, 30mm Dell open bellmouth, Variotronic, Devtour exhaust, li 150 gearing.
Sorry i can't be of much help, try looking on this site in the carb set up section or do a search on L.C.G.B. Good luck with it ;)
