Rebuilding a Indian GP150 with stock gearbox, complete rebuild using Mugello 186 V4....need some advice from anyone who has a similiar setup, looking at using a PWK 30mm with foam filter, Scootrs tuned exhaust, either Variotronic (looks easier to setup) or indian electronic ignition.
So question is
What jetting for the carb (bearing in mind here in Qld humidity is fairly high)
What timing position.

Any info would be most appreciated.

Why the PWK? Do you already have it - otherwise I'd opt for a 24mm mikuni, I know a few lads that have tried for ages trying to set up a PWK and ending up dumping them for a TM24 - just a thought :)
If it aint broke.........tinker with it.....

Thanks for the reply, I'm open to suggestions as I haven't got the carb yet, I've always used delorto before, but it's been a while since I've undertaken a complete rebuild opposed to some simple ungrades....so the easy options are more my current thoughts, although at some point I'd probably add a reed valve manifold which are available for this kit.

I have a muggi 186 v2 with a 28-30 pwk, ScootRS exhaust, varitronic and Im so happy with the lammy. If you go for the pwk I could help you with carb specs. Just go for it!

Don't underestimate the effect the gearbox has on your set up. I've got a Muggy 186 v2 and JL3, the stock Indian gearbox on mine was a Vijay Super Mk2 and 4th was far too tall for it.
I'd check your ratios because I think the ScootRS pipe is a bit revvy.

So did you then use GP200 gearing?

Thanks for the advice, looks like I can just switch gear shafts from 150 to 200 & just swop the 4th gear....result.

Sorry mate, I reckon you'll have to replace the cluster and loose gears as a set. Usually mixing and matching is not an option with Lambretta gears
