Early series 3 headset. Ignition block?

Has anyone fitted an Ignition block to an early series 3 replacing the cut-out switch, I think Its possible but will I have to file the sides of the block to fit it in? any one done this lately? any advice would be much appreciated ( I know how to wire it up I just want to know if it fits in there)........... THANX

I've had to file two LI series 3 headsets to fit ignition switches.

But they will fit in ?? as I have commited to helping a mate and its one of the things that needs doing....

they will definatly fit .. after a bit of filing, doesn't take much...

All I can say is both mine fitted nicely after I ground down the bits inside the LI headsets. Maybe one of the more experienced here can confirm for definite that it's ok on all LI headsets.
