Post pics & videos of your scooter, projects you're working on, a lovely Vespa that you saw at a rally, or anything else scooter related.

Hi Guys,

I just got back last weekend from a week riding around Brittany with my wife on her Primavera, my mate and his doris on a PX200 and another couple of mates on a Honda Transalp

It was great! we did 1250 km total... mostly cruising behind my wife at 50-55mph (her bike is standard 125) but I had a few fangs... including a 20km stretch of motorway into Rennes - just me and transalp, whose speedo sat on 75-80 the whole way. Not bad considering I had loads of gear on board!

Pics below:
Josh had some clutch trouble which we fixed at portsmouth

We went for a ride to Lorient to see the u-boat base... great roads on the way down! and the kookiest garden!

This survived years of allied bombing and was all that was left of Lorient at the end of the war!

got lost on the way back...

We saw some awesome country side

and some really freaky Honda Goldwings from Russia... one had a mural on it that said "Live to Ride - Live to Live" It was like one of those japanese cars that have faux engrish on their spare wheels like "Honda loves nature and nature loves Honda"

My scooter made a great picnic table!

It made a great shopping cart and drinks holder too!

All up, I used the same amount of petrol as the PX200 and only slightly more than the Honda (about 5litres /100km)

The only mechanical troubles we had were Josh's clutch nut coming undone and his top shock mount coming apart. We fixed it with cable ties and it held mint!

Yeah I saw your pics... looks like a great trip too!

We had rain on the first saturday (got my iPhone wet!) riding down to Portsmouth and it hosed down on the Monday, but aside from that it just got hotter and hotter!

great!

Yeah I'd be keen to test out your RB soon!

great pics, you were not far from French Al of Eurolambretta fame. We did the Uboat pens last July when we did a private rally to his house. Off again on the first of July... 8-) .....see you around London sometime. Tim.
