My mate is building a gp with 175 kit ,what would be a good expansion pipe to use ,with elec kit 22mm carb.

I used a JAHSPEED on my 175 engine with a 22mm delly. Pretty rough whilst running in, didn't like being rich, but after dialing in she took off like a scalded cat. Good pipe, on the expensive side and had to wait a good while to get it too, but definately worth the wait. The tail can bracket was a bit odd too so I ditched it without any snags. Its not too loud either and PM tail cans fit straight on.

i have been through a few on that setup. depends what powerband i have found. I know ppl will probaly slate me but the following were

Scootrs - to revvy preferred higher speeds and experienced problems with leakage
NK - better but still likes above 40mph
Big bore - good
JL3 - 4 havent tried but heard its the best to cover all ranges.

Get some of that red exhaust stuff - cant remember the name but it seals everything.
