Keep an eye on your chain guide

SX150 chain sounded a bit rattley lately so I whipped of the chain case to take a look.....

Needless to say there's a nice nylon one in there now!
There were some significant bits of steel stuck to the drain plug magnet :shock:

Feck me.. :o ..was the chain seriously slack in there sideout..MB chain guard I hope..

Just to clarify that is NOT an MB chain guide in the picture, it's a standard one.
I would fit an uprated chain guide in any engine, even a bog standard one, it's one worry that can easily be eliminated.

Yes Ian, I think Lam46 was referring to the replacement, rather than the original which was standard 1967 Innocenti ;)

Yes Ian I was referring to making sure you fit an MB (genuine) chain guard like I have fitted in mine and not one of many copys of Marks idea..
