Keep an eye on your chain guide

SX150 chain sounded a bit rattley lately so I whipped of the chain case to take a look.....

Needless to say there's a nice nylon one in there now!
There were some significant bits of steel stuck to the drain plug magnet

Feck me..

..was the chain seriously slack in there sideout..MB chain guard I hope..

Just to clarify that is NOT an MB chain guide in the picture, it's a standard one.
I would fit an uprated chain guide in any engine, even a bog standard one, it's one worry that can easily be eliminated.

Yes Ian, I think Lam46 was referring to the replacement, rather than the original which was standard 1967 Innocenti

Yes Ian I was referring to making sure you fit an MB (genuine) chain guard like I have fitted in mine and not one of many copys of Marks idea..
