Good quality seat for GP?

I'm looking for a new seat for my GP 200.
Ideally like a standard GP type (or maybe Ancilloti cut/slope back).
There seems to be any number of different ones, different prices, quality etc.
I'm prepared to pay for a good quality one, any recommendations?
Thanks

I was looking at the targa Twin at Camlam the otherday and it has a GP Electronic seat which looks the mutts nuts....probably not too eassy to get hold of though

I've been looking for a new quality seat for a while now myself, there are various options.
What's actually wrong with the old one? If it's a quality seat then you can get it refoamed for a fiver plus postage and get it recovered for £55 for a basic design and not much more for some trick stuff.
If you want a "new" seat then Scootopia is probably your best bet, you are looking at £150+ which is not unreasonable because they are quality seats but are just copies of the older seats.
My planned solution atm is to refurb an older seat...

In total agreement, had a good luck at the one on Mouses MB scoot at donny sat, look very good and seem very comfy..not that I sat on it..our kid did though the cheeky sod..

, bloody pricey though IMO, I have just had my old Buzzsolomoto seat re-covered black with white piping which was always comfy and hopefully will stop my pain from baby ancilloti seat which looks great but no good for my glass back..

on a gp i can only recommend the electronic-waffle-seat. much money for a seat. but nearly the same money as if you get + restore a genuine silme or giuliari-gp-seatframe and get a casa cover plus strap. the remade elctronic seat is the best seat i have ever seen for lambrettas. good looks, very high quality, good comfort. top buy. fantastic.
tip: wait and collect the money to buy one you won´t regret.
still don´t know why people have 2000.- pounds for a restored touring-lambretta and ruin the whole bike with an asian "original-type" repro-seat instead of a proper original or very good remade giuliari seatframe, some foam and a remade good looking casa-seatcover.on the budget side i think a little pm-race seat looks more classic (6ts-racer) than these bad asian repro-cruelities with their horrible seatstraps.i am talking only about the "original-type" benches. simply awful. in contrast to the asian covolo seats which not only look fantastic on the right series 1 or series 2 but also are made in fantastic quality. simply great.

I had a look on Zac,s [cottage restorations] stall at the Hunters doo last weekend, he had some very nice seats that were like Ancillotti,s but were padded with memery foam, i did force my thumb into the foam and it didnt bottom out like it does on normal foam, if your planning any long runs they might be worth a look.

This is the
Sootopia One
Does anyone have any other pics of the Electronic seat on other scooters?
Would it completely obscure the rear frame badge?
