Bought a pair of these springs from Cambridge Lambretta a fortnight ago and when ive unwrapped them to fit tonight I checked them for length and ones about an 1/8th inch (dont do this metric s**t) longer than the other and the coiling of the springs is different.

Anyone else had this problem with them?

Im going to ring them tomorrow and send them back to be replaced.

I know we all moan on here when we get poor service, crap parts etc but I need to give Cambridge Lambretta praise here. I rang them this morning and explained the problem with the springs, immediatly offered to replace them and send them out with a return postage label to send back the faulty ones.

Thats what I call good customer service

For the service they gave me when my 225 Mugello blew up due to faulty piston rings I'd always recommend them. Sent me a new monza by return at no extra cost (they didn't have a muggy in stock). They stood by the product and never tried denying responsibility. Top firm!!!
