before building my new 200/225 Mugello engines
i need to know what is the better crank for a fast touring use
as i 've read before it is precognized to use the a 60 mm crank with
a packing plate of 1 mm on the 225 v1 ( sc koln ) but is it the same for the
v3 type ??
but how to choose the con rod lenght...107 /116 mm ??
please let me know

Using a 116mm length rodded crank gives a much better allround engine in terms of smoothness and extra power compared to using the more standard length 107mm rod more comon to Lambrettas. We produce both a road race and a full circle race GP tapered crankshaft to give you the best of both, long rod, and GP taper.
The Mugello evolves again the Mugello kits now feature a new cylinder head, which has been specially designed specially for the Lambretta Mugello, Imola and Monza kits. These new heads are supplied with the kits as standard, so there is no need for any further tuning or modifications.

The 225 kits now have the excellent Imola/Mugello piston, completely redesigned. The piston has been designed to be run in air cooled engines, has wire type rings, and is both light weight and very strong.

so youd need a packing plate of 9mm to suit the longer rod of 9mm plus another 1mm or 60 stroke?so a total of 10mm???

no the piston has a shorter crown height,center of gudgeon pin to top of piston side not the crown,check on cambridge lambretta website.

MB do a 120mm rod for extra smooth running

ok but is there a difference between the two barrels in case of 107 and 116 conrod or
it is only based on the goudgeon pin position on the piston like on original 175TV??
In the case i chose the long conrod shall i prefer 58 or 60 mm stroke ???
