I was impressed by the performance of a mates 175 st4 fitted with a ScootRS pipe, plenty bang for your bucks

if you like the sound of a std silencer...go for that
a clubman type may also please you ...same sort of sound ..but a bit deeper/throaty and a bit of extra performance.
a fresco or scootrs pipe will give you even more performance. :D

As said the scoot rs pipe is a good all rounder ,but do you want a pipe that will suit the 200 also ?

What do you want the engine for? A rally machine? Sunday ride out at 40mph? A hooligan machine to thrash around town? A commuter? When you say Buzz sorted the kit, what did he do to it? Tune it or just tidy it up? What gearing are you gonna be running? Hard to answer your question without a bit more about the engine or your expectations of it.

to update .just a tidy up from Buzz i will be using standard gearing, whilst i know its not the best gearbox, just want to get back on the road.the exhaust will only be used on this setup and it is my intention to get a reasonable road speed but i will mainly using for sunday rideouts etc not rallies, the other engine will be built for this !

yeah, sounds like a clubman type of pipe would suit best

Surely the cheapest one you can get your hands on is the best one if you aren't planning to use it for long.

Or, do what someone I know does. Just scab all the bits off your mates, promising to give them back at some point.
