weld on damper brackets

Just about to get the brackets welded on myGp forks, question is which distance is correct

1 Stickys book says 23.5 cms

2 LCGB site says 25.5cms

3 Measured up my other Gp and that is 25.5cms

Help please :? :? :?

It probably depends where you measure from. I checked this at RLC and did another photo to make it clearer for the forthcoming edition but the measurement is still the same as before - 23.5cm.

Looks like the difference in height depends on where you are measuring to/from.........top or bottom of the weld on bracket :?: :?: :?: :?:

Thanks for that, picture makes much more sense than the one in the 1st edition. 8-) :D

I did mine 23.5cm and think they are too low ,don't seem to have enough distance for my BGM shocks.
