Trust me, I think I have read most of the builds over there. :D

This one stands out for me.. http://lunaownersclub.lifediscussion.ne ... st-project

I love the way the box has been made under the tank in the frame and will definatly steal that Idea when rebuilt time turns up next winter.

Thats a stunning Idea to hide the electrickery. Thats thinking out the box (pun intended)

I have been talking to some guys and i am also considering buying a standard lui exhaust because I think it has to be better than the one I have now. I`m pretty sure its full of gunk and it rattles when I shake it.

That proberbly hurts performance some what.

One for the Vega buffs...

Why won`t a J range exhaust fit a luna?

Ive never tried but I suspect the mounting points are different. Also the port height is definitely different - by how much depends on the model I suppose - a 50 luna may have the same exhaust port position as a J50 but then again it might not. A vega 75 is not the same as say a J125. A hammer can help I'm told...

Ok, I`ll give that a miss.

I bought a normal lui pipe and I`ll upgrade to a "clubman" when casa get those in production and a larger carb.

Until then, I am still waiting for parts but there is a little glimmer of hope that I will get it sorted and be able to ride with the moped club fella`s next wednesday.

A clubman?

One thing about putting your electric under the tank is they are a little tricky to get to. Not as hard as placing them under your rear mudguard mind like mine but worth bearing in mind. ;)

On the 12v ponts kit I can just use my original junction box and bracket so I`m not worried about that for now, but fitting stuff in the rack bolt is also a very good Idea. :geek:

As for the clubman...
At present (Oct.2015) Casa Lambretta doesn’t have a big bore exhaust option for the Casa 75cc kit when fitted to a Lui (the J range equivalent exhaust ‘X42’ will not fit a Lui). However, all that is about to change as the lads in the RLC workshop have just built such an exhaust - and this will be tested on Brian’s scooter. If all goes to plan then they will immediately go into production.
I think if someone made a Vega pipe they could sell them at a premium price because judjing by the state of the inners on mine, allmost none of the originals are in good nic anymore.

You can get a Vega pipe from some site in Belgium - not your std buck rogers job, a 'race' pipe. Have you seen them?

Yeah, that one is a bit too obvious. If you get what I mean?

Although I love the high side pipe I have now, I prefer the normal lui style over amodern looking expansion.
