Cheers, I love it I have to say, pretty much got it as I want it now with the clubby, the toolbox, added a battery to it too for a front spotlight as I'm a bit paranoid about riding in the dark.
Same battery also powers the new 12v dc horn as well as the rear brake light so no dimming of the main headlight when applying the brakes or the horn

Lam46 start saving mate, I have no idea what one would cost these days, mine was £990 about 6 or 7 years ago but I had the muggy engine to put straight in as the original one (I knew) would need a complete strip really.
That price was taxed and tested too.
Course like any scooter they all need more money spending on them, I just can't bring myself to spend it on paintwork

Just have a chat with buzzsolomoto, can't believe he aint got any good uns he'd let go?
I've often wondered the logistics of going to spain and getting one back and how much you'd save vs the time and hassle?

Okay; I've got to ask. It looks pretty sound already to me. What are you planning on doing to it?
It looks better in the photos than in the flesh. Not sure what I'll be doing yet, probably a 175 with a mild tune, straighten the body work, weld up the extra holes & a respray. Fancy a period racer look, but I am struggling to find any 60's Spanish racing team photos to use as reference.
We where quite a poor country in the 60's could barely afford to race, so we basically never painted our scooters in specific colours, just whatever was available... leave as is, or paint in a solid colour.

Thats the bit I dont even understand... Why could people in England expect to pay less for them when we need to make the effort on our behalf to get them for so much

They must be bough in bulk or else there is no way. Time will tell.
