i think its only a matter of time before someone developes a twist and go set up/conversion for a lammy.
all thats needed is a variator, on the end of the crank, centrifugal clutch, belt to match and a couple of cogs in gearbox.............

I had an Idea that I would get a Dragster and put a f@@k off lamy engine in it
Bought the dragster, did the design and worked out how to do, but never really got round to it. Sold Draggy now, couldn't keep it as wasting space for another Lammie
Was going to call it THE LIGHTSIDE

What the fcuk ever happened to all this gearbox development?
Quite frankly i never cared about 5 gears, but a 4 speed box that was lighter and stronger than original, with close ratios was what i wanted....any news or is it all dead in the water?

You'll need an electric starter and a way to seperate the oil from the crank case too.sean brady scooters wrote:i think its only a matter of time before someone developes a twist and go set up/conversion for a lammy.

I still have an eye on it but there are a load of other things I need to sort out first, new GT barrels, EFi, small scratch built water brake dyno etc. For the time being the current boxes will cover the majority of applications.sydduckett wrote:drunkmunkey6969 wrote:What the fcuk ever happened to all this gearbox development?
