That's a no then......makes perfect sense now you've explained it. Cheers for that.

It's pretty much a similar story when you go wider too. Realistically you have about 10-12mm that you could add onto the width of the casing but it gives problems with the kickstart and clutch arrangement. If you go wider with the tyre you need to throw the casing further over to the right on the mounts.10 inch Terror wrote:That's a no then......makes perfect sense now you've explained it. Would you be able to fit a cyclone in as opposed to your own 4speed?Rich_T wrote:The focus is to get the standard cases delivered before working on the big 330's.
The 330's are based off a CR250 crank and JS650 piston. They will use Aprilia RS125 ignitions, nothing else (these are the best choice, trust me on it). The 330 kit will be iron lined and cost about £600 ish. To cope with the power there will be a new close ratio 4 speed box with much stronger sprockets. There will also be an 8 plate clutch (both clutch and gearbox are reverse compatible to standard engines). Including a carb and budget pipe you'll be looking at circa £3.5k for a built up engine.
As soon as the standard engines are on the go we'll be working on the big kits.
You could but on the GT330 it would be a waste of money, you need stronger gears not more gears. There will be a specific GT gearbox come to market by August, it will be 4 speed VERY strong and have a range of ratiossydduckett wrote:
