The GT barrel did Cobblesoul last weekend, its a shame it was wet again on the track though. I was looking forward to taking the kit on a dry track :( I used 6 litres of fuel going round and round slipping and sliding wishing I had softened my rear shock and wondering why I hadn't been bothered to fit an outboard disk before setting off lol.
I have some footage which ill upload at some point but not much due to the stupid fuel pump I fitted a couple of days before going, it drained the small battery down, I removed the pump but to late to save the battery :(

Its fun to ride :)

I must be getting to old because I just couldn't get any confidence to push hard enough to get the tyres warm enough to give enough grip.

Just a few minutes which show how slipy it was, at one point you can hear the rear wheel spin up in second and there is footage of me getting one bend wrong three times on the trot.
Enough excuses about my terrible ridding............... The GT kit went well on the track, I just wish it had been dry and that the track was in the long straight configuration so I could have got in to 4th just once lol

The GT kit completed a 340 mile day trip to Tenby and back yesterday, Kit had no problems but the exhaust has fallen to bits :(
Video to follow..........

I must congratulate on the miles you're putting in, not just "over-nighters" but the day trips as well. How many miles do you reckon you've done on the GT ?

Aside from all the technical aspects of the GT kit i'm also interested in what type of seat you're using to be able to do the trips seemingly every week-end.

GP electronic seat, but tbh I've always done a lot of miles so my arse is used to it, its my back, arms, legs and head that suffer lol.
No idea how many miles tbh, the GP that the engine is in was supposed to be getting an overhaul once my winter model was on the road but when the GT testing came along last year the GP never got done, its falling to pieces so the speedo's haven't been working all the time. ive done over 1000 miles in the last 15 days though and Ive been running the kit for over a year so it must have quite a few miles on it now.

Exhaust is a franspeed, but in its defence it got clattered last weekend in France on a lump in the road which left a huge dent in the down pipe, the problem yesterday was the end can bracket broke only about 100 miles in to the trip so it was only being supported by the front engine case bracket and with in another 200 miles that broke too :( It done loads of miles though since ive had it so its lasted a lot longer than any of the 6 JL4's Ive had.

If you do loads of miles you expect stuff to brake, it still pisses me off when they do though lol
