Has it been a good investment…… Yes or No??????
I've now connected the temperature sensor, although it won't fit under the plug  it works!
The only thing that doesn't work is the rev counter on a Wassell DC conversion with a battery, but I have a Koso tacho on the bike anyway, so I'm not bothered.
Would I buy another? Yes, in fact I think I'll get one to put on a 12V AC bike. :bouncing:

I've had mine on my SX for a week, done 260 running in miles.

Everything works perfectly with a BGM 120 stator. I have been using a GPS to check and adjust the mileage.

It looks standard, but is a great trick part! It's the best thing ever!

Will be fitting one on my GP shortly!

Hey Maz how did you go with the actual physical fitment of the unit in the SX headset (not any electrical connections). A lot of chat on the forums suggest that the speedo cable connection is in the wrong place and in a SX headset the cable/fixing actually pushes against the back of the fork (instead of going down the middle of the fork) and prevents the headset and/or speedo fitting properly. Seems the GP headset has enough room to accomodate this.

Anyone using this unit on a Varitronic (and fitted to an SX headset)?

im running ac and have sx headset so im waiting for confirmation it fits before i take the plunge.

Also does running a magentic/electrical pick up instead of the cable mean the fitment is no longer an issue for the SX headset as you could grind down the fitment on the back of the speedo?

I guess it does, but I wouldn't like to try a warranty claim after attacking the speedo with an angle grinder

Got mine running with magnetic pick-up, on AC Varitronic (well Casa) and in SX headset. All ok.
