Goole...That brings back a few memories been chased by the Police from Hook and nipping down by the fever hospital and the pumping station back home for a rattle can respray. They seemed to be telepathic, I was always riding a mates Bike or had no tax or MOT. Then you get old and go legit, or better still leave sleepy hollow.

where is digger now? last i heard he was in columbia!
mr skipsea called last week to see me (he alway comes at the time when the kettle has just boiled) he brought me a new 'teapot'!!!!

Yeah Diggers still in Columbia probably el presidente of the Lambretta club of Columbia :lol: :lol:

A common thing with Rob turning up when the kettle has just boiled must be his 6th sense eh :lol: :lol: :lol:

1975 ish went back for a bit then back to Manchester. No scooter shop in Goole and had to go to Eddie's in Howden, Greaser territory at the time, i got into so much trouble with our friends in blue and seem to disappear off their radar when I got a car.
No scooter clubs either, come to think of it bugger all but my brother and I ran a mobile disco and often did the Vikings and did the Blacksmiths arms in Hook for years. Good days.

Rob Skipsey was in MB the other day, didn't get the chance to have a chat as it was so busy.

I love his one liners.

Rang me as well , on the phone for over an hour revisiting old scooter stories :D wanted to know what was best to put in it :shock: think he ended up with a new 200 casing for the lad dont know what kit he went for whatever it was he will be looking for a bargain :lol: :lol: :lol:
