What have you got to lose if you already have the 28? May as well try it, you can always switch back.

Keep them but a disclaimer saying they are ball park settings only until dyno'd etc.

So.....did you buy this in the end?

Ask a simple question......
I haven't bought anything yet - I don't need just yet as I'm still building the scooter. Interesting read though.
I always intended going to dyno in any case so I'll just be trying to get a reasonable baseline to get me started.
Looking around at other set ups for Imola and JL3 the camlam suggestion doesn't seem too off the mark to what others are using, I guess the key difference is the 50 slide. But everything else with a 40 seems to be in use.
So I think I'll start off with the Camlam suggestion and go from there. BTW the stated 30 choke is def a typo on their website.
Martin -- you're right I can't get it for £99, but it does price up at £105 which seems pretty good -- that is for:
Choke 70
Slide 50
x2
AV268
Main 120
Pilot 55
with choke kit
Cheers all, Mark.

Soosh, if you look at the start of this thread "so called ballpark" settings were given out before the guy even mentioned what he was running!
That was the problem i had with it and then i got accused of trying to blow peoples motors up!
And going by the chaps post above it's a bloody good job he didn't go with "those ball park settings" because it turns out he's running/building an Imola which would not be good on those at all!

For the 28 carb you'll need aprox 115 - 117 main maybe less for the 26 between 105 - 110 both recommends are a little rich for safety. use same atomiser/needle and idle as 30mm to start with.
