Fit new stainless Allen screws to stop them rusting in the future with some copperslip on the threads. Not sure as to what you mean regarding the throttle?

My throttle cable is open ended, not sure what to secure it with at the handlebar that fits in the round indentation on the square sliding block.

The inner needs a small soldered nipple like a Ser3 choke cable end(the one that fits the plunger). Then either solder a barrel on the carb end or fit a screw type one.

Ahh. I see. Another thing on the to do list but I'm pretty sure my carb has to utilise the small nippel as the cable fits in the slide.
I ordered parts from Rimini late Monday night and they were already on my doorstep today. Impressive. They are just as fast as mb are.
I have now rebuilt the engine. New everything really, kick start washer and bushings, magneto house, bearings, seals, gearbox, 3 plate clutch, casa crank...
One little niggle though. I bought the long chain so I can fit the new larger front sprocket and no way will it fit
So at a guess, I'm betting the 47 tooth clutch isn't the standard size? I wonder what the upgear gears and 13-47 sprockets will be like?
Next up is overhauling the fork. I have a feeling that it's another job that isn't as straightforward as it first looks.

Iv`e been spending my evenings rubbing the paint and it looking a lot better.
The Fork is off and I have changed the springs, rods, balls and link bushes.
These are a lot more exposed than in other lammies so I wonder if its wise not to cover them in greese and maybe just greese the balls?
What do the others do ?

Thank you!
email sent.
Went for a long ride today, it rides realy well and like clockwork.
Gearing down from third to second is a bit hit or miss so I will fit a new sliding dog on monday.
It goes about 60km/h on the flat but its awfull (I`m still giggeling mind), on the hills. The steepest hill behind my house I could only crawl in 1st @15km/h. I can cycle faster!
So I will be changing the primary to 47-13, its now 48-11 and I will be looking for ways to give it a little more grunt in the hills. I might have to bite the bullet and fit another pipe.

Is there some quick modification that can be made so that it is actually possible to use the inne gear adjuster?
What a balls ache. I`m almost considering taking off my rear wheel to be able to get to it!

Right, sorted my timing yesterday and burnt some crap out of my pipe and now it goes a little faster but I`m sure im missing a little hp in the hills, although I can now hold second.
I am going to fit a new larger front sprocket and chain when that turns up on monday and also fit the new sliding dog.
I have also got hold of a lui rear light because the one I have on at the mo is falling to bits and has the wrong lens.
I would like to tidy up the ay my numberplate sits and wonder if anyone knows how this fits?
