Ducati ST4 with my Lammies

Bought this in July last year after 30 years of solely scooters, had to see what I was missing.



Hmmm it was ok, big, heavy, awkward to move. Fine on the road though but swapped it for this in November

Exactly how accurate is this statement on the northwest alliance site Bofs?

I'm not judging but "NCSC is made up from a crowd of gays" ??

By the way some really nice bikes in the previous photos. Agree with comments about riding lammy at speed feeling just as fast, or faster than a bike on full chat.

I can see how you guys had fun touring and with your better half's on tow as well. I have never had the chance of a ride of a big scooter to see how it compares to bikes or geared scooters. Did you guys go for big scooters because you are Scooterists through and through and not interested in bikes whatsoever or have you tried a bike and thought it was shite? Thought I would ask because I am interested

We were all scooterboys in the late 70's early 80's. Some went off to bikes (kept scooters) and then back to scooters. I started on big autos first as after doing a couple of years of track days, speed became a bit of an addiction and I had to find a legal alternative to fast road bikes. Like I say bought big auto and never looked back. Then the other three bought T maxes and I moved from Nexus's to a Tmax. I'm the only one who's other half has done abroad, but the four of us swear by the Tmaxes. OK they're expensive and will never be bikes but you can keep up with (and overtake ) a badly ridden sports bike. We have an absolute hoot on them and the trip to Italy was spectacular. Ironically when we do turn up at National runs (save the Lammies for big Euro trips) no one talks to us. When we go abroad on them, bikers ignore us. Pathetic on both counts but we just take the p155. After all life is too short.

I imagine the sports bike rider would be well pissed off .Personally I like my bikes, and I like my scooter for different reasons. There was a local 250 malaguti I think a wee while ago I was contemplating putting a bid on so I am open to the idea off a big auto scoot but I am cheap so it would have to be cheap for me to have a go

I had an R80 Rt ,I am a bit pissed off I traded it for a sportster. Good looking Lammy you have.
