Good news. Sounds like someone in the know had a quiet word with somebody.

Do you have any close up pics of the engine? Maybe a new campaign for that?

Think.....why did the scoot turn up and not the engine?

Possible theory: Two lads nick the gear, they split the loot, one takes the scoot....one takes the engine. Seems to me, one of the fellas has seen sense, he knows he can do f@@k all with the scooter without getting rumbled, so gives it back. But hood No2 is greedy, so he's hanging on......maybe thinks he can 'sit out' the heat and use the engine later?

So let's give the guy a chance to drop the engine back to you also.....new pics, new campaign!?!?!

Very good point. My wife thought the very same thing about hood number 1/2 this morning (No sexual innuendos please! Lol!)
cant comment about police at the moment as still investigating.
A big thank you to everyones support so far. I have no doubt that the social media pressure has helped.
THANK YOU!

I think I must have checked this thread at least hourly hoping to see some good news.

That's the best bit of the thread so far. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Whilst it's good news you have got something
back.
My cynical mind keeps saying.
" it's more likely to be someone you're aquainted to"
Given they know where to leave it!!!!

Great news that.... and I hope your engine also finds it's way back to you intact.

It doesn't sound like the scooter got very far from where it was stolen from though, if the thieving c*nt5 were able to return it to the schene of the crime undetected?... Not a nice thought - but this stinks of being someone known to you.

Weather the Scooter being returned was down to them suffering a sudden crisis of conscience - or the realisation that their loot was going to now be way too hot to do anything with - or the fact that someone has had a quiet word in their ear.... time will tell all - but I'd like to think that they've just s**t themselves @ the coverage this has had across all forums & social media over the last few days & decided to do the right thing (well half way at least)!

But regardless of their sudden change of heart - they should still have their sticky, thieving hands put in a f@@king vice when their identities finally do come to light.
