I can't see anyone else picking up the gauntlet to be honest. It's strange as Super bike gearboxes have close to 150-160 BHP put through them and they are as thin if not thinner than the Cyclone boxes. Mine is up and running again and it's great to be honest. It's just a shame I can't hand on heart say I trust it 100% though.

I'm not sure I follow the fear factor in reference to the cyclone. A lot seem to have failed when being kicked over, at worst that's a grazed shin...Seriously though if you thought about all the potential issues that could go wrong when going past an artic on the M1 on your kitted scoot then you would be a nervous wreck. blowouts, nip ups, suspension failure, exhaust snapping and going under scooter, sliding dog exploding and locking up back wheel just as you drop it down to overtake. The last on happened to me and all the rest have happened to other people I know resulting in offs or near misses.

At least the cyclone is only likely to let go as you change gear, you can't say that about a seize or blow out.

Suppose id better send mine back for a refund then, I've had broken cog and cluster for a while and have been waiting to see how things develop and if there are any improvements as im not 100% convinced, also never had a std lammy box break on any of my motors in 27 years.

I did like the 5 speed box when it was in and do miss it tbh, safety is more the consideration :)

i dont think its the gears that would be a problem to get made or made stronger,as posted on here, the superbikes run upto if not more

than 150 bhp with thinner cogs, the cost would be getting a selector made

I would be interested in any loose gears if people have broken boxs and can't get a refund from Rimmini as I'm in process of building another box at the mo...ta
