No problems with mine, fits nicely. I run a Protech rear shock and the travel is fine with no issues for anything fouling or banging.

All exhausts have to slot through the same gap, so no matter which pipe you fit.......its always going to be a close fit, and will vary for scooter to scooter, with different pipes, rear shocks, offset cones, cylinder kits, mounting brackets and so on.

I sell a lot of these pipes, and rarely get anything but praise for this exhaust, especially given the price!

Having said that, i welcome the day Taffspeed reproduce them again (if they ever do) as it would be great to see the original being offered again. Same with the old DJ pipes....they are a great bit of kit, but no longer available.

I think its deceiving because its not a 'fat' pipe at the part which runs in front of the cowl/head like a lot of other pipes are (ADS/NK/Franspeed). The fattest part of this pipe is at the side where the bracket is, so the angle of the cone sweeps up from the thinner part.

I cant see why? They can start producing/selling them any time they like, its their choice not to. Maybe they will in future? Who knows? ;)

These Taffy reps fill a gap in the market until that day though, and for £180 compared to £500 I'd rather have the copy. As far as I can see they look good, sound good and give good performance. A couple people seem to be having fitting issues, but their is only so much room for ANY exhaust to fit between the kick-start and runner board isn't there?
£500 is that how much a Taffspeed is worth?
Did you have to do that?

I'm now look at either cutting bracket that's welded to exhaust or doing away with pipe learn by mistakes

£495 is what the original mk4 taffy costed new, it's still on taffy site but "out of stock"

I bought an immaculate mk4 of the bay last week for £300. It's a lovely combo with my gt186. Pulls sx200 gearing easy.
