we are very sure that this kit is very powerfull as fitted as std ..............
and plenty of other folk will fit and dyno their results we are sure...........
but the same could have been said at the release of TS1 kits..................
we now know now that tuned TS1,s are better...................
look at it this way.............as is the case with most things we do......on here at scooterotica........
we take chances,we take things to their max,we also risk failure........,all at our own expence..................if it works ........we share it with you .......and tell you how its best achieved.........if its no good..........we also tell you..............
we do this sort of thing just to provide you with information that may or maynot help you personally...............
and to also save some of you time /trouble and money....................
so please ,dont slate us for trying various crazy things..............
we only do it ..........to help us and you

There's no way that many of us have the time, funds or know-how to push the extremities of any piece of kit. Thank God for people like Sean and the like. Without them, scootering would be a far slower and less reliable movement.

Can I have my cut-price RB20 now please.....

I've found this thread very interesting, Great work by Dan on the initial post, great pictures.
I'm looking at getting an RB20 in the future and glad that there are people out there pushing
the limits of the Lambretta engine, rather than giving up and going over to a twist and go or
motorbike engine...Keep up the good work guys and I can't wait for the next thread.

Obvious Robert, it's for an RB250.

I put a post on this site somewhere. stating, Given the choice I would take the Imola over the RB200......

If I was offered the choice of an Imola or this RB200..... I would have this RB200 without a second thought...as even if it dosnt do whats expected of it, still alot of knowledge will be gained, either way, by whats been done.....As you never get anywhere by standing still.....

I think it was a general comment, not particularly directed at you mate.

I do like to start with a bolt on kit so I can see what improvements are made after I've had a play with it.
But I do know where your coming from Dan, it's a ball ache stripping it again and can do ya head in building it knowing there's improvementsvto be had.

If you are being scientific and objective you should really build it as it comes, dyno it, etc then do what you think needs doing, dyno again etc.

It is a pain but then you will have two curves that you can show people. Especially important with the variances in dynos.
