This is absolutely stunning in terms of the innovation. The twin + header tank has to work povided there are no opportunities for air-locks. Presumably there still has to be a 'return' somewhere in the system to the higher primary tank level

Ref the VW gearbox bearing for the lower steering: it is just a ball race to mate the Vespa frame cup to the Lambretta fork cup...or a 'custom' tapered bearing by any chance? (Sorry know Sweet F.A. about VW gearboxes)

Thank you Yanker, Lower steering is tapered roller, needed a small amount machining off the diameter of the fork to fit but was the best size wise we could find and was free!! With regards to my tanks, Yes there is the main tank and a header tank with a return.

"Maybe" just missing the Lambretta Eibar mudguard to make it look right?

I AM impressed and want a tapered steering bearing set 'yesterday'
