That is funny.
Shame when Innocenti made the real Lambretta their perception of the market was maybe not as astute..........or was it???

My first scooter, a tv175 s3, had a nice useful tartan carrier behind the legshields and a lovely faux lepard skin seat cover. Heathen that I was I binned them. What would they be worth now I wonder?

Well, Innocenti marketing department where too design driven, as everything in Milan today, "il design" is everywhere. They had to be en vogue always (today I thank them for such a wonderful legacy, but I think back then it was their biggest mistake):
Still they where modest, just talking about Bertone as a "world famous designer"... The Countach or the dust beater Stratos where just in the ink quilt yet...
Yes their engine is not as nippy as a Primavera, but hey, can a Vespa afficionado says he has a Bertone design sitting on the garage? (or on the living room as it is my case)
