How 'bout a H.U.D. (Heads Up Display) inside the helmet? I like to watch the road over trying to look at small digits on the headset. It's teh 21st Century, like, so where's my flying car, er, scooter?

So we have 2 digital speedos coming to market at the same time...

Will be intresting to see how they compare to each other... The Dac would appear to have the edge as far as functionality is concerned what with having the temp guage, which i think is a big tick for a lot scooterists..Both appear to be made to fit into the series 3 apauture without any fettling and both can run off a magnetic pick up.
Any more info on the Dac and what the kit is likley to come with, temp sensor, fuel sensor and so on?
Similar products but each serve different end users. The MB unit is a simple straight swap for those wanting a better speedo. The DAC unit would require sensors for each function (water, egt, fuel), installation, wiring/battery (?), and more.
Either way... it's about f@@king time!

All looks very exciting indeed, I would like to ask the following forgive me if they have been asked before?
1) How accurate is it has it, has it been measured and compared to a GPS?
2) Is it cable or pick up sensor driven?
3) Does the price include the pulse pick up sensor and cable for the wheel if applicable?
4) Will it display km/h as well as m/h?
thanks

1) It's as accurate as your measurement of the circumference of the front wheel. If you are finding it doesn't match your GPS you can "tweak" it by adjusting the circumference entered.
2) pick up sensor
3) yes
4) I think so

As Ian says on accuracy it's all in the set up. I used my GPS to fine tune the settings and when I got to within .2mph variance was happy enough. For a while I ran with my GPS taped to my headset, testing the speedo at different speeds and rates of acceleration and both devices matched all the time. Unlike a conventional speedo the low speeds do read...even 1mph!
