Surprisingly....we will use the cheapest piston we can, as long as the rings can handle the revs......its just an old GP150 cylinder that Mick wanted to practice on, and its value doesnt warrant a £140 piston etc........its just an experimental cylinder.

Also, Mick has now finished the porting, so i'll get some more pics up this week, he's also tidied up pne of those crap ebay alloy kits for me, not a race tune, just something steady.....but much nicer than standard.

Any news/update on this. I'm stripping my Vijai super at the mo and just finished stripping the whole engine down.

Yes...its' done....i have just been ill with a virus and so havent got new pics up yet. He's also done a alloy-ebay kit for me as well.....will do some pics next week when i'm back on the ball.

What did Mick think of the ebay SR kit. Got a 200 version that he could use to build a race barrel from and a 66.4 Asso piston for it.

Although they are shirt to start with, they clean up OK.......and he was pleased to be working on something a bit softer after that cast iron cylinder!

Here you go then, a few pics of the old Iron doorstop that Mick has played with......these cylinders are throw-away items for most, so we were not worried what Mick did with it, whether it works or not, how it performs etc. We just thought it would be good for Mick to get to grips with some scooter cylinders, and have a play. We'll throw an old piston at it and see what it does, its all good fun.















I also had an old eBay Alloy piece of s**t that i let Mick loose on, he just tidied this one up so that the rough port edges didnt smash the rings etc and gave it a fast road tune....nothing crazy, just made it usable and made the ports a tad bigger than standard.
