Wow......people are now writing how telephone conversations may or may not have gone. Even though Ron said no conversations had taken place. Seems some of us are now tabloid journalists.
If a guy spends a lot of money and time developing a product im sure he has every right to feel upset and agrieved.
If i bought an avanti kit i would buy an avanti head.
if i bought a gt kit i would buy the gt head.
Am sure people will still buy what they feel is right for them.
Whilst competition may seem good.....is it?
If smaller manufacturers stop making products as they feel they cannot afford to do it or the kits will get copied they may stop doing it.
I know not a lot about cylinder kits. What i know i can write on a postage stamp.
Its nice to have a choice. Its also nice to be able to get advice and input from the designers.
Unfortunately or fortunately people will look at each others products and try to improve and develop them.
would i be right in thinking af developed the TS1.
a lot of kits nowerdays seem to have adopted the nickasil liner with alloy fins and reedvalve technology.
am sure rayspeed may or may not have felt annoyed.
But at the end of the day hopefully the market will be big enough to allow smaller producers to keep producing and updating their products and people will buy them.
It just seems sad that no conversations were had apparently.
