Barrel honed out with a new Avanti piston fitted. Went out a wee run and was pleased the back wheel didn't lock up this time

.993 miles to go

Cant go fast enough to tell. So far its new forks and internals and new engine mounts. The Escort rear shock looks and feels a bit pants but wont worry about it until ive got her run in and the summer this year is so shite I may not find out. Gan up to Ayr for the day weather and scooter permitting, you gan?

End of July?
If so, no I'm down south working that weekend. Might bob up to LCS do tomorrow for a couple of hours, if I can get a pass.
Other than that looking to stuff in August now.

Do you have the slimline front dampers on? (i.e. old Italian style ones rather than the fatter ones) My SX bounced all over the road with them until Ben at AF told me that they can't find a slimline one that works properly so I replaced with new fatter style ones. I think he said the thin ones have no rebound damping at all, so it's like having a pair of pogo sticks on the forks. The new ones do look s**t though compared to the old ones, but at least I stay on my own side of the road now.

First decent run out recently on bumpy back roads as im running it in and don't want run over, the bike was all over the place. Changed the bearings and set as slack as possible and its much better.
