well I've put them on now, round side down, spring washer, bit of Loctite, and a wire through the drilled thread, that should do it oh and a bent over chain tensioner tab. lol

When you say 'down'...you mean towards the barrel ...right?

sorry you should be more clear, round side against the welded flange with the hex side facing up toward the end of the stud :lol:

I decided to put mine on the inlet manifold studs instead................
