I wish this was a video call youd p155 yourselfs guys Im working this out...hand flowing up and be drawn in at speed to give the venturi effect.(much as a vacuum effect being sucked in)..

YES YES get it now....When I was a kid my mum would make the coal fire every morning..before lighting it she would cover the front with news paper..then light the under grate...now the air was stuck so had to go somewhere..and it would rush up the chimney...now your plan sean would be for this air to rush out over the cylinder..?

So you could duct and vent into the top of the frame thus forcing cold air over the engine stroke cylinder then it would by simple pyhsics force the hot air underneath or road bound...

its the fact that a chimey is up high............in the passing wind that makes it work....................
the wind..........from any direction..........causes a suction on the chimney spout and helps draw away the smoke...............heat etc............

it also helps it draw/which in the case of old coal fires.........means that if its windy............the suction will create draw.........which means that it will suck in more air into the fire,which will then burn faster..............and create even more energy..............

when starting a coal fire............the old trick of covering the aperture with newspaper etc..................just basically enhanced the venturi effect.................. :D

i wont bring up steam engines /blowers/blast pipes :lol:
