Pipe was actually £690, then got titanium endcan and ceramic coating inside and out added £300.
I gave PMs all the info they needed and how I wanted pipe to look/fit. Johnny did a fantastic job.
Made in 29 sections. I have the paper templates for every section should I need to get it repaired.
They also made pipe for my Rotax Max Smallframe.
Plenty of people make pipes but I wouldn't hesitate in using PMs again.

Full circle P2 crank modified for T5 casings
Ducksta, I'll hopefully be at the Santa Pod thing in July.
Was going on me Rally, but might drag the TS out of storage if you're going.
I'll be the one with the red P Range and a que of people wanting to prove how s**t it is

No-one will take anything away from Oz because he did this because he could and fairplay for that. It isn't cheap and it isn't easy but therein is the rub.
The question is if it if it was worthwhile?
Yes if it were only because "No-one else had" or just for engineering laughs.
No if it's on the money side. He could've spent next to Buggerall and got something faster with a little research and a bit of time in the workshop. But that's not the point.
Anyway, Lauro is working on a T5 based lardy motor, think the figure was around £4.5K for a plug and play. No, not cheap but I expect it's in the same area.

I think oz's conversion was a top job in terms of engineering. I was not slagging it off on this thread.
I never even mentioned it.
I was talking about port area and what can be had for the cost.
Darrel Taylor who is currently winning group 6 feels that 25 to 30 is available from the 172 malossi. And that is not even the long stroke version I was talking about.
It's just physics. If you have a certain pressure through a given size port you will get a certain flow. That's bmep.
I do not know more than Terry Shepard oz. I have never claimed that. But why do you think Ray went to Terry in the first place? He knew the issue of the two studs restricting flow on the lambretta motor and wanted to see what could be had with a different approach. I wonder what Terry would have said if he was given the choice of asymmetric studs or symmetric? It's obvious? No?!
The two narrow studs on the lambretta 200 motor are similar to the two stud spacing on a smallframe.
So you could have up to 'x' amount of flow either supplying up to 258cc in the case of the grp6 lambretta or the same amount of flow supplying just 153cc in the case of my smallframe. And the performance figures from the shootout last year show exactly what's going on.
My bike and Guy's are almost the same weight. (Doug's grp 6 , by guy is actually lighter than my SS) ok the riders are heavier but that will help in the launch as its moveable weight. (Frontal area is similar from the 90ss to the Vega leg shields of Guy/Doug/Ryan
So. Over a standing start half mile top speed event the 260cc (or thereabouts) cutdown, vega leg-shielded, watercooled lambrettas were just 2 mph quicker than my air cooled standard bodied 90ss with153cc. Ryan and Guy did 106 mph.
Also my 1/4 time was 14.15 at 94 mph.
You did a top job ozoap with your conversion. And I know how much grief this type of job is as I have done similar projects. But I think if you took a new look at the whole thing you might think different.

I wasnt aware of any 30hp T5s, (or many P Ranges for that matter), 10 years ago. Where as non exotic spec TS Lamebwettas were mid/high 20's. TS barrels had been around for 15 years or so and a well known commodity. It was an easy, straight forward, cheap conversion for the hp/torque produced. Reliable (that was the reason for using T5 casings rather than P Range). Has never left me stranded at the roadside...can't say that about many TS1s

Got a few Lammy casings in me lock up.
Crank case induction, T5 Malossi barrel, 60 stroke...it's the future

Or a barrel from a paraglider motor if you are going crankcase induction, providing you can get the reed valve area.
70x60, 33bhp from the box, and expected to be reliable at that level. Not even all that expensive...

Only thing is that will be a crank or at most a figure at the end of the reduction gear. Once it's running through a lambretta casing with its small volume and then drives a chain , clutch and constant mesh gearbox you will see quite a loss unfortunately. That's not to say it couldn't be tweaked of course.
