Once that was out of the way all that remained was a double check of all the nuts bolts and screws and then the scooter was wheeled out of the safety of its workshop and into the sunlight for a wash and polish up. I still have to get the wiring done (a mate will come round and do that - its all spagetti to me) but for now i think i am done
There are a few upgrade jobs lined up for the engine in the coming weeks including fiting a 22mm carb and gearbox from an Indonesian excel 150 (same ratio as a P 200 E) and i would also like to add a cylinder kit, Hydraulic disc and a pair of biturbo gas shocks when the money allows but thats for the future.
I have just had a chat with my mate Dave, who tells me he has a brand spanking new (NOS) 5 port engine from Italy (is the MK II T5 an electric start engine ???) if it is a proper T5 engine then i will kit it with a Mallossi 177 kit and stick that in this bike, but you never know maybe ill change my mind if a decent P2 lump comes up.
Below are a few pictures of the finished scooter in its 6th incarnation now - hope you like it.
Cheers
Rich
