So what thoughts are there on what BHP the current cyclone can handle vs. the F1 grade gearbox ?

I'm also looking at getting one of these 5 speed boxes.
Couple of questions ( cant find the write up in Scootering!)
Are there different variations in the supplied gear ratio's?
My TS1 runs a Li 150 box with 16/46.
But the power doesn't come in under 6k, peak power at 8800 rpm.
Would the 'standard' 'box being sold suit my set up?.
I will give Stuart a bell to pick his brains when I get a spare 5 mins, but any comments would be appreciated .

I'd like to know that too. Anyone got tested figures?

Ive only just read through this thread, and as far as i can gather the main selling point (apart from the "bling" factor) is ; a smaller % rise between the top two gears ?
So the £600 five speed 4th to 5th rise is 16%
The £80 indian gp200 4 speed 3rd to 4th is 19%
Im still to be convinced.
My mates just got one so ill have to try his

Hi Russ,
Pondering this myself,
Do you know what the jump from 2nd to 3rd is on an Indian gp box

BIG
Indian GP200 1st--43%--2nd--47%--3rd--19%--4th
RLC V1 1st--46%--2nd--26%--3rd--21%--4th--16%--5th
It looks like it fills the gap between 2nd and 3rd on the indian box.
I run a this box with 20/47 4.7 i dont have a particular problem with 2nd to 3rd as my RBs quite torquey, in fact i find 1st to tall if anything and the RCL is slightly shorter, so it may benefit me slightly pulling away

Try it, then you will find how easy is to drive a five speed box engine, and what pleasure is to feel how it pulls in all conditions

It would surprise me if anyone bought this for that reason due to the cost. So far the results speak for themselves...
