Im getting mine next week
I spoke to Jerry on Saturday about them, he said that these will be the first batch and the curves can and will be changed with future batches.
He can have any curve ordered from the manufacturer and is open to (sensible) suggestions to future curves.

I know it's early days yet but has anyone who is running one got a real life comparison as to how it feels in comparison with static, or any of the other variable set ups?

can I suggest no-one fits these advance retard units without access to a dyno or a real knack for setting up a motor, having had to remove an augusto 6k unit whilst on a tour of the west highlands due to heat seizes caused by simply riding on slow roads great care must be exercised by anyone fitting these, they are most definately NOT plug n play devices

i think thats what people sometimes fail to understand, augusto 6000 means it stays in the high advance untill u get past 6000 rpm about 60 mph , so under this u will be running 20 ,23 advance etc, n yes it will cause motors to nip up , dont think dynos will afect this

the whole point of buying the unit was i was sold on the notion of a cooler running motor with more bottom end punch and better fuel economy, if it only works if you gun it everywhere then whats the point in a punchier bottom end if you cant ride in it? ditto cooler running or economy; my point is i understand setting up on a dyno can richen up areas where overheating is likely, however allthis is leading me to the conclusion that the luddites in my club were not wrong, which is not a little dissapointing!

it will only run cooler past the 6000 mark, if u richen it up under the 6000 mark to keep it cool running at slow speeds it prob b unrideable
