damping works in one direction ,the damper itself can be in any position

Yer; but they damp on the rebound don't they? If it's upside down it ought to damp when it compresses. If you see what I mean.

no cos the valve can only work the way it was intended no matter whether upside down ...side ways ....under water ...in space ...mars .... :lol: :lol: :lol:

a better explanation would be think of it like a bike pump ....they dont suck if you turn it upside down :lol:

you cant moint them upside down.
rebound and compression will change.

That's what I was thinking Inna. As I understand it now a damper will only damp as it extends. Which is on the rebound. It will still extend on the rebound if it is mounted upside down. I think. :lol:
