By the pure nature of the beast - there will always be both positive and negative comments about your scoot or for that fact any scooter so radical in whatever guise.

I for one like it - a lot and i'd have one if I too have always said i'd never have an auto (and i can't afford it )

I don't like mirrors , I personally don't like murals BUT I always appreciate the skill, work and money that goes into ALL sorts of scoots, but I would never post anything negative about someones pride and joy - just because I don't happen to like it.

So you love the scoot and I hope you get many trouble free - fireless miles out of it matey

I must agree I really like it and have liked the scomadi since I first saw it on here last year when Frank posted the pics..and no Im not just supporting a mates new scoot I really like it, GP styling with a auto reliablity and speed..Ive again missed a rally today because of electric gremlins, I just spent a lot of money on new paint/ parts and hard work and late hours getting it ready for this weekend and a s**t bulb holder and light switch scuppered my plans... so maybe its time for modern autos..It would have to be black and amber though...

in principle i like the idea and have got an auto engined lammy but the 12" wheels and height off the floor look all wrong

It's only the rear wheel that's 12"

It does sit high though,I sit towards the rear of the seat and when I stop I can just touch the floor with my toes and I'm about 5'11".

Well i Like it a lot. I would prefer a geared one as i like the drive a geared bike gives you but i would still bite yr hand off... I was surprised to hear that you only just touch the floor with your toes. That does sound mighty high? Maybe someone can tell me why they need to be so high, the rear section is fabricated from scratch after all. Is there a reason that the engine has to be at such aq high angle, seems if it was more level the the hight of the loop could be lower. Im sure someone will expalin the obvios but i know bugger all... A friend has got a rossa and i have both feet planted when sirring towards the back, that even when you take into account thats it a lot wider than a normal lammy. That i have to say would be my choice of all the re-engineered Lambrettas and its over 25 years old...Six speed box...mmmmmmmmm

It doesn't help having a 12" rear wheel,as for the reason why it's so high i don't know.

It would help if i sat at the front of the seat but I always sit towards the back,I just find it more comfortable like that

fattspeed did a 10" wheeled 180 four stoke auto that sat right in my opinion allthough you dont get a disc on the rear with 10" but that was the only down side
