it dont leave much room
should be putting bodywork on tomorrow eve if all goes well.
i ran it for 1 hour on tickover tonight and the fan cuts in after approx 20 mins for about 30secs befor it has cooled enough then comes on approx every 10 mins after that, its great to know that it all works .
strange thing is i got rid of my ts1 because it was to fast for me and now i do this but hopefully it will be a low revving cruiser on its li150 20/46 gearbox.
its not been that expensive either ,
the basic kit was £1550,
barrel and head of ebay £75,
relining with a new teflon coated wossner piston £225
old readspeed 6 plate clutch
stator/brain/coil and power valve servo ebay £125
wiring harness £100
rads £200
fan £90
exhaust £225
fuel tank £155
battery free
primer £25
water hoses and a few other sundries £100
gasket sets £20
a lot of this was at cost.
i did build the engine myself, had a bit of help of chris on bits i was unsure about.i know of another home build as well. if you can build a bretta lump you can build this imho
i believe there are still 2 engine kits left as well

Mark didnt you say on the other forum that they still have kits for sale? is this correct? what those the "kit" include? I asked DAC many months back but they said they where fully booked for 2010.
