Good stuff..

What expansion will you be fitting?

Also, could you not first do expansion + remote, then expansion + open bell mouth as I'm sure most of have asked ourselves just how restrictive the remote filter system is and if there is a noticeable (worthwhile gain) running open.

Ta. :)

Depends what we have lying around in thr workshop...probably an old fresco or a scoot RS...what ever it is, it'll be cheap....not a fat mamba or JL4 etc.

just dynoing a scooter in one set-up can take 30mins - xyz hours depending on how bad it is when it comes in, and what it needs to get it sorted.....so cant really spend hours doing multiple set-ups....because they are incomparable unless you match the same A/F reading on each one.

eg - run it with a filter @ 12.5:1 A/F and get say 12bhp....whip filter off and get 13bhp.....big deal....it means nothing as without re-jetting, all you did was lean the mix. If you match the A/F identically on both runs and get a BHP increase...then you know the % gain....but you have to keep re-jetting, re-dynoing after each change to match A/F readings.

Time/money limits the variables we can test.

I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
