Are these Indian kits are all produced by one firm? The prices from Ebay sellers for them can differ by £70.00. I've seen Buzz sells cleaned and checked full kits, but I'm only after a barrel.

Scoot-r-shop in kippax near me has some...anyone been, not dealt with them afore?

Has anyone clocked up decent mileage on 225 Indian barrels?

Talk to Harry Barlow at Pro Porting - 0116 287 1285
He's tuned a fair stack of these cheapo kits as well as everything else.
He'll tell you the score and give you real, road going engine advice - oh and he's well known for tuning high torque motors and you don't need a 2nd mortgage to pay his bill

I got a casing, got 60mm webs, got an APE rod, got a TS250 piston...just need a barrel. Called a local shop today about Indian alloy 225's and out of stock until after Brid anyway.

Thanks Stokie...a stump puller is what I want! SX200 gears and Saigon Taffy copy.

Exhaust - around 165
Transfers - around 115 (they won't both be the same  )
Inlet - cant; remember but not very wild

Been looking in Dave Webster tuning manual - Suzuki 225 (but using 107mm rod)

Exhaust - 175 / 24mm high
Transfer - 130 / 14mm high
Inlet - 170 / 24mm high
Dwell - 65

Can't say I know alot about the above...but I want Suzi 230cc. Would these work on that too with a longer rod and are they torquey or revvy? A Kawasaki 240 exhaust port in the manual is 170 degrees. I'd like an idea of what I'm asking for before phoning anyone.

I'm pretty sure this guy has advertised just the barrels in the past for less than £50 I think

Might be worth sending him a message, I've dealt with him a few times and found him to fast and reliable.

My current Indian barrel was used when I got it so probably had a few hundred miles on it and I have done at least a thousand miles on it myself. I've had issues with pistons but that was nothing to do with the barrel.
