Timbo, thanks it's a scootrs elbow and filter. Am living in Malaysia so not really practical to try yours but thanks !
Was thinking if fuel in the bellows was the problem wouldn't that be at it's worst after you first stop? In my case if I stop with engine hot and start immediately it starts first time, it's after I've left it for a little while the problems start.

Carb issues
The saga continues! I ended up getting a short Marchand filter that fits directly to the carb to try to solve the warm starting problem. Didn't solve the problem and ended up dropping the pilot jet to 32, but was running very rough.tippo88 wrote:Timbo, thanks it's a scootrs elbow and filter. Took it to a Dyno, tuner said not enough air flow , binned the filter, dropped the main jet to 120 and got 11.9 hp with a slipping clutch.
Rode home and running great, starts first kick when hot, however absolute bugger to start from cold or warm, only thing that works is if I bump it.
Am wondering how much influence the fuel mixture (4%) , and spark plug type and gap have?
Since setup on the Dyno should I leave the pilot jet alone or worth trying a 34?
Would giving up on the PWK and going for a delly be likely to solve the problem?
Very fustrating just want it to start easy and run smoothly so I can ride it after all the work rebuilding
