Agreed it is real dog's dinner.
Yes insure them on the frame number and you can ride to the MOT as long as you have a pre-arranged slot.maggo1974 wrote:Do you still insure them on the frame number.will you be able to ride to mot.??
I think this is the bit where the no insurance bit falls down... To pay the required road tax needed to register a vehicle you need insurance, so without the insurance you can't register. Tax exempt vehicles seem to be more successfully registered than taxable vehicles without insurance.DigDug wrote:I did a Serveta last month and the application was sent back as it wasn't insured!Suede Ed wrote:Nova, do it online, no certificate required. When you send in v55, mot, date cert, fee (£55, plus tax, £17 (?)) They will check its novad online. Did my gp recently, no insurance required, honest! A SIL gp, no issues what so ever.
Rang the DVLA and they were adamant that insurance was required.
Yes I think I would agree that that is what appears to be happening.servetakid wrote:I think this is the bit where the no insurance bit falls down... You just tell them you wish to sorn it Jordan rather than tax it and then they will accept it without insurance.servetakid wrote:I think this is the bit where the no insurance bit falls down...
