Blimey, that's good, I'm going to put a standard GP exhaust on (when it arrives) so it'll be interesting to see how it goes then.

Don't forget we now retard our ignition to cope with the lower octane lead free fuel we have to use these days ;)

A quite illuminating thread.................
I had a 'GP 200' in 1971.................. well some people thought it was ...................
Actually it was a 125dl that I bought brand new.
A number of my friends at the time thought it was a 200, (didn't look too closely at the forks).
Why did they think this?
Because after running it in, it regularly showed 68mph on the speedo! (Veglia of course)
I've absolutely no idea how fast it was really going, but at the time I could easily keep up with SX/GT/GP 200's, and no, it hadn't got the wrong engine in it!
Lol..............

Put the standard exhaust back in a, it could go quicker and near the Lambretta stated figure when they can out. My Tv175 flies.
I've often wondered on a std motor if a clubman makes any difference at all.

Yes, they make a lot of difference and not in a good way.. Loud and big isn't always better.
