I also stopped buying the magazine years ago, thought I'd miss it but never did. I occasionally get one to see if I made the right move and believe I have (for me) By the sounds of what I've read here it makes the l.c.g.b Jet Set booklet sound like a winning formula from ones I've seen (not a member)

I could start writing articles for them on my engine build experiences and how they differ from published data to assist I guess....

Or they could go to scooter rallies and events and get a "feel" for what the scooter riding readers are wanting !!!
I can't think of a recent rally in the last upmteen years (and I believe I'm not being flippant to say I attend a lot of National, Local and Club rallies every year, in the UK and abroad) that one or more of the Scootering editorial team haven't been to.....

O' and they ride their scooters to events as well.....

What an ill thought statement to make. I take it you've never gone up and said hello at a rally to the likes of Andy, Iggy, Sticky, Lobby, Dave O, Barry....... etc, etc (Clearly preferring to pass judgement from the comfort of you keyboard??)

The joys of our Scootering scene  Everyone has an opinion on everything, yet I find very few get off their arse and get involved to shape and evolve things.

Must admit, I thought it was a strange comment also.

Scooter racing write ups, new product reviews, rally reviews, interviews, rally dates.....I think it's great value for money. It's a difficult brief trying to keep experienced scooterists and beginners entertained. In my view it succeeds. I think for such a niche scene we're lucky to have the mag. Maybe I value it more because I live so far away from a large scooter scene. It brings the scene to my town. I don't understand the negativity here.

As stated I only occasionally buy it for my own reasons. On reflection it doesn't matter what we all say it obviously sells well for what it's worth buy it if you want to and don't if you don't want to

I think the irony has gone over everyones heads tbh,
I'm more than sure that Cabalman was having a dig at the "scootering should read forums statement" as he goes to more rallys than most (he was one of last years BSM winners and is a joint leader this year) Oh and yes he does know most if not all of the scootering team.

I must admit though, I read it and thought wtf lol

I for one and im sure its true of 99.9 % of people who attend wouldn't know any of those people from adam so thats a rather crass statement ! But then again im sure you dont know the same Tom Dick and Harry that I know ..
