Baz was the guy measuring your rpm? If he didn't you won't get a reliable torque figure anyway. I absolutely garuntee that RB20s make more than 8ft/lb torque

Hi Al, feck knows mate he seemed to be a bit vague and was not filling me with confidence with his gear and clutch changes!! Personally speaking i was hoping for a great deal more tourque

and when on the road it was keeping up with a ts1 and some spare left , overall very happy and seems very fast so not too worried........honest!!

I've not heard any doom and gloom re the RB20 . . . the RB22 and RB25 have a reputation of being unreliable but everyone I know of really rates the RB20 which seems to have addressed all the weaknesses of the other two.

Well had the sat nav out today , on motorway with slight side wind upright 77mph. Reckon 80 mph is very acheviable in good conditions ie head down and no wind....

Now have just over 300 miles on the clock and was out today, to be honest its a bit of dog to ride at mo, seems like other posters that unless yr in the power band you aint going knowhere fast! On the couple of occasions i have opened up the taps (yeah i know) then i have had to rag the nuts off to get in that band and then she really picks up. Only prob being that as im running it in i cant really give it the beans, so sitting there pooping and farting along being overtaken by 125s, no change there then...lol
Hoping that as i near the 600 miles mark the power starts to become a little more accesible, maybe the change the to 2% will help as well....
Also just went through £13 worth of oil in i day, reckon im getting about 35 per 5 litres.

What is your set up fella ie gearing carb exhaust etc? Personally i would stick at 4% oil mix certainly no less than 3%.
I'm going to change sprocket's on mine to get around the 5.0 ratio as in windy conditions won't pull 4th, on 4.8 ratio at the mo , but then i'm 15 stone so won't help matters!
