Your most probably right but because of how it performs ive just stuck with it !!!
Exhaust was done by a guy over 25 years ago !!!! he made the reed block too...
He use to work from his garage after work and use to tune the oxford roadrunners race and road scoots amongst other things..
He would ask how much do you want to spend on a tune !!!! those where the days
He tuned my T5 ( standard barrel) mk1 mickeck pipe....another ripper ....
And another mate modified the head wow 15 years back..
Im not to sure of how to up load pics ....I can ytpe that's about it ...

totally disagree ,
having been involved in 2 stroke engine development/racing in mx/kart/road race/sprinting and road based machines ive found higher dyno power balanced with the correct gearbox/ratio selection creates faster machines
based on your statement a standard motor with 10bhp would be faster than a mhr 210 kitted motor with 20bhp
why buy a kit then?,keep it standard!

I think Gadgetman's point was that even if an engine makes a peak of 40hp on a dyno, it doesn't make it fast on the road. A bike with 34hp could easily be faster, if he's got over 30hp from 2500 revs to 12,000 revs. If the 40hp engine makes all it's power above 9,000, it's going to be a sh1t to ride.

agree MM(like the sock puppet) the power range is all important and how it works with the available gear ratios and final drive be it a low mid or high dyno power figure
the statement made in isolation is misleading as very good high dyno power and high torque and wide power band at lower rpm motors can be produced that are actually very fast on the road
so,
a high dyno power doesnt always equal fast on road,but when done well with the correct power range it sure does!
